ψ Personalized Care Dr. Rickenbacker recognizes that patients may seek the advice of a psychiatrist for a multitude of reasons, many of which are personal or sensitive. She gives you opportunity to express your concerns at a pace comfortable to you and realizes that your past experience with mental health providers may have shaped your expectations for care in both positive and negative ways. The practice of psychiatry is both a science and art, and each appointment should be viewed as a step on the journey of maximizing your quality of life.
ψ A Foundation in Medicine Dr. Rickenbacker remains up-to-date with current research through continuing education and collaboration with colleagues in other disciplinies. She combines clinical experience with evidence-based medicine to develop a practical plan of care. Her treatment regimens can be as lifestyle-changing as buprenorphine therapy for opioid dependence, or as conservative as vitamin supplementation for depression.

ψ Individual Growth The more you understand your symptoms and your treatment options, the more empowered you are to participate actively in your care, both here and with your other providers. Education on your diagnosis as well as behavioral and lifestyle interventions are as inherant to treatment as the prescription of medication. Appreciation of an individual patient considers family members and loved ones, too.
ψ Private. Practical. Our fee-for-service option guarantees that the details of treatment are confidential and unrestricted from managed-care third parties. Our coordination with insurance providers ensures quality care at affordable prices. We are in-network with Aetna, BCBS, and Seton. We can accept a single-case agreement with ComPsych or Behavioral Health Services. For any other insurance providers, we can assist you with filing for your out-of-network benefits by providing a claim form for you to submit to your insurer. Patients are responsible for knowing their coverage benefits and limitations. Payment is due at the time of service.
